Fresh minds are the lifeblood of any creative industry. And we want to get more into ours.
Barn is an ad school in an agency. A course created by legendary ad tutor, Tony Cullingham, now being continued by former BBH creative chief of ten years, Nick Gill.
You’ll be taught how great ideas happen and how you execute them. You’ll learn from great creative people. You’ll visit other agencies and learn from more great creative people. And there’s a job at BBH for the best creatives at the end.
We want applications from everywhere. So we’ve knocked down barriers for entry. There are no course fees. We pay you. £28,000 per annum while you’re here.
We’re so excited about meeting you.
To apply, answer these briefs:
What French town would you be twinned with and why?
Explain the benefits of having a slug as a pet.
What would you like to be reincarnated as, and how would it make you a better pianist?
You see a sign on the back of a truck. It says, ‘How’s my driving?’ There’s a phone number. You ring it. What do you say?
Write and perform a diss track aimed at self-service check-outs.
Tips:
Keep your ideas simple. Use as few words as possible.
Use any medium from posters to TikTok
The finish of your ideas isn’t important. Your ideas are.
Resist the urge to explain your ideas or tell me why you’ve done them.
Feel free to vary the tone. Silly and serious are both legitimate.
Try to base your ideas on relevant insights and truths.
Try to stand out.
